GeekyTech One-Year Limited Warranty

1. Coverage Duration

GeekyTech warrants your custom-built PC for one year (365 days) from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in parts, materials, and workmanship under normal use.

2. What We Cover

We will, at our discretion:

  • Repair or replace, free of charge, any defective part or component originally installed by GeekyTech.
  • Provide labor and diagnostics related to the covered defect.
  • Replacements may include equivalent or comparable parts. If you request an upgrade instead, you are responsible for the price difference.

3. Warranty Conditions & Exclusions

To keep your warranty valid, you must not:

  • Change, update, or modify BIOS settings or firmware in any way.
  • Add, remove, or replace hardware components without prior authorization from GeekyTech.
  • Alter the system’s software or hardware environment in a way that may impact stability (e.g., beta drivers, additional overclocking, unsupported software).

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from misuse, accidents, improper handling, or external causes (e.g., liquid spills, power surges).
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Software-related issues, data recovery, or troubleshooting unsupported operating systems.
  • Unauthorized modifications or third-party repairs.

4. Shipping & Returns

  • For U.S. customers (including Puerto Rico), GeekyTech will cover return shipping if the issue is confirmed to be warranty-related.
  • International customers are responsible for all shipping costs.
  • You must use the original packaging or suitable alternatives approved by GeekyTech.
  • Any damages during transit must be reported within 3 business days of delivery, including clear photos of the packaging and components.

5. Warranty Claims

To file a claim:

  1. Contact GeekyTech Support with your order number and a detailed description of the issue.
  2. If approved, you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and shipping instructions.
  3. Once received and inspected, we will repair or replace the affected component(s) as appropriate.

Repairs or part replacements do not reset or extend the original warranty period.

6. Limitation of Liability

GeekyTech’s liability is limited to:

  • Repair or replacement of faulty parts, or
  • Full or partial refund at our discretion.

We are not responsible for:

  • Loss of data, software, productivity, or downtime.
  • Any incidental or consequential damages.

7. Ownership & Transferability

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the system. It is non-transferable.
